This Friday Feb26th we are having our Last Friday party. Featuring the music of The Wailiens with Eric Soulivin of The Luminaries. A guest speaker form ANSWER LA will be here, also Sam from Sugar Cane Juice will be giving out free drink samples. So please join us to advance peace through music, food and community.

This is an opportunity for all to come out and gather together with the community. We will be having special musical guests and a fundraiser. Stores and cafes will be open late!

Richard Castaldo

Candidate for US Congress

30^th Congressional District

Richard Castaldo was born in San Diego, CA in 1981. He lived in Denver for 15 years and moved to L.A. in 2007 to attend SAE Institute, where he received a degree in sound engineering. He is currently an engineer and musician.

He attended Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado and was a victim of the infamous shootings there in April, 1999; consequently, Richard remains in a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury. Because of this, he has been a subject of numerous documentaries including “Bowling For Columbine” and “Peacejam”. He has also been involved with non-documentary projects.

Platform

1. Defund All wars of Imperialism. (Including Iraq, Afghanistan, and

Pakistan)

2. Single-payer not for profit healthcare.

3. Abolish corporate "Personhood". Rights belong to human beings not

Corporations

4. Terminate the Patriot Act and restore the Bill of Rights

5. End Corporate & Bank bailouts and create Green jobs

We have a new menu - so many awesome new dishes to try! Warm yourself up with the new Red Hot Chile Soup or our Spicy Jalapeno Hummus. For a real winter treat - have a Spicy Chocolate Velvet Hot Shot. It's a sweet and hot after dinner drink we made for those winter evenings, or mornings or just whenever. We also added a Warm Miso Soup, as well as a tea called Warming the Middle Jiao, designed by our in house herbalist to stoke your digestive fires. Who says raw food isn't for Winter?
